Creek Rapelling 1 - Empire, CO - Adventure

The last few days have been super hot. Thus many creeks in the state
are flooding including the creeks on the ranch. So before work today
I had to open two small dams we have so they did not get washed out.
Not wanting to fall in the creek and tumble to my death, I used my
climbing gear to tie-off and rapell down to the dams. Yahoo!!! I
love the outdoors.

Buffalo Creek - Buffalo Creek, CO - Mountain Bike

Today was my second time at Buffalo Creek. It's only an hour from
Denver but seems a world away. There have been three forest fires
there in recent years so sometimes you are riding through the forest
and at other times through burned landscapes. Either way the terrain
is a blast with lots of rolling terrain and twisty trails.
